With the Club constructing a new dam as part of the Championship Course redevelopment, Royal Sydney will transform its current irrigation dam into a paperbark wetland – set to be the first of its kind in the local area.
Among the many benefits of this proposal, which will be made up of approximately 200 paperbark trees, the wetland will foster an ideal habitat for a variety of fauna, particularly wetland birds.
The Club has produced a video to provide insight into this exciting aspect of the Championship Course Project. More information on the paperbark wetland can also be found by clicking here.
