The Club has achieved an important Championship Course Project milestone, receiving formal approval from the Department of Planning & Environment (DPE) of the Club’s Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP).
An AHIP is a legal document that gives permission and establishes conditions to perform excavation works near Aboriginal objects or places. Obtaining the permit is a necessary step for any works to commence on the Championship Course.
This approval has been three years in the making since the test excavations were undertaken across the course.
