The Royal Sydney Golf Club recently submitted an application to modify a DA condition in relation to construction hours for its course renovation project.
The Club does not request any change to operating hours but is seeking to include ‘machine excavation’ as an activity that can be carried out between 7.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays, and between 7.00am and 1.00pm on Saturdays.
All other aspects of the DA condition will remain unchanged and, importantly, this includes restricting all significant noise generating activities. The Club is firmly committed to mitigating any potential negative impacts that the project may have on our neighbours.
The application will be determined by an independent Local Planning Panel and approval of the application will help to minimise the length of the construction period and reduce the overall level of disruption for neighbours.
